Crackers are a good snack for 9 months and older to. they are easy to disolve and if your little person is just getting teeth its a great food to teach them on how to use there teeth.

My child has been only wanting to feed herself for 2 weeks now. Her first finger food was Cheerios - they are great! She is continuing to learn how to pick up even the hardest foods to eat. I just gave her baby Goldfish crackers today...they are also the perfect size for her fingers.

My 9 month old baby girl loves any finger food she loves to squish carrots, banana and she adores pasta and its all easy to make.

My daughter is 8 months old and loves to pick up and hide the Cheerios in her hands. She eats one and is excited to find another one in her other hand, kinda like hide-n-seek.

Slade is 8 months old. He already loves Cheerios. He cries if we take them away. He takes his little fingers and it takes a lot of skill he gets it just right and puts it in his mouth. Sometimes they stick to his finger and he can't figure that out.

I buy the mini-pancakes for my son and tear them into little pieces. He is able to pick them up himself and has really mastered it! He has no teeth at 9 months old, but is able to gum just about anything. Anything from bananas to bitter biscuits. It is humorous to watch him gum his food!

My son is 8 months old and I wasn't sure that he could handle Cheerios. I started him eating them by biting the Cheerios O in half and sucking on that half for a second. Then I gave it to him. Now he eats whole Cheerios O and can't get enough.

My 8 month old son loves his Cheerios pieces and really anything he can pick up and put in his mouth that I dont pull out immediatly. He also loves rice and bits of chicken, its really developed his grasping abilities.

I have twin girls and they are as different as night and day. My oldest wants to feed herself so I give her a spoon to play with otherwise she is to busy pulling on the spoon while I'm feeding her. My youngest won't eat anything that is pureed to thin, she has to have something she can chew. They both love Cheerios cereal and carrots but that's where it ends one enjoys fruit the other veggies.

I wasn't sure if my 8 month old boy was ready for finger food but he sure surprised me when he picked up a Cheerios O and put it in his mouth. He just loves to feed himself now.
